Copyright and takedown
Grabivo respects the rights of creators. This page explains what Grabivo does and does not hold, and how a rights holder can ask for a reference to be removed.
What Grabivo holds
Grabivo hosts no videos, pictures or audio from the platforms it supports. When someone pastes a link, the resolver reads that post's public metadata and returns the direct address the platform itself serves the file from; the file is then fetched by the visitor's browser, and no copy is stored on Grabivo's servers. The only things Grabivo publishes are its own tools, pages and articles.
The fastest way to remove a video
Because the file lives on the original platform, removing it there — or reporting it to that platform — makes the link stop working everywhere, including in Grabivo. Each platform has its own copyright form: Instagram, X, Vimeo, Reddit, Pinterest, Kick, LinkedIn, Steam and Epic Games all accept reports from rights holders.
Sending a notice to Grabivo
If you hold the rights to a work and want Grabivo to stop resolving a particular link, email [email protected] with:
- a description of the copyrighted work you say is affected, and where it is first published;
- the exact link to the post or media that Grabivo resolves, and the Grabivo page it was used on if you know it;
- your name, your relationship to the rights holder, and an email address we can reply to;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your signature, typed full name is enough.
A notice that is missing these details cannot be checked, so we may ask you for them before acting.
What happens next
Each notice is read by a person and answered at the address you give. When a notice is complete and valid, Grabivo stops resolving the link it names.
Grabivo's own content
The text, design and code of Grabivo's pages belong to Reblucky Software, apart from the open-source components the site bundles, which keep their own licences. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome; copying whole pages is not.
Using downloaded content
What you save with Grabivo is still the work of its author. The terms of use ask you to save only content you have the right to save, and to respect each platform's own terms.
