About this downloader

This Kick downloader turns a public kick.com clip or VOD link into an MP4 file in your browser. Paste a clip address (kick.com/<channel>/clips/<clip_id>) or a VOD address (kick.com/<channel>/videos/<id>), preview the video and pick a quality. Clips are saved in their original quality without re-encoding, while VODs are offered in every quality Kick publishes, up to 1080p60 where available.

Nothing is stored on this site. The page reads only the video’s metadata; the segments travel from Kick’s CDN straight to your device and the MP4 is assembled locally, so the file never passes through a server here. No account, signup or watermark is involved. Long VODs save best in Chrome or Edge on a desktop, where the file streams straight to disk instead of being held in memory.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Kick VOD?

Open the VOD on kick.com, copy the link (kick.com/<channel>/videos/<id>), paste it above and press Download. The recording is saved as an MP4 file.

Can I download a live Kick stream?

No. Only finished recordings (VODs) and clips can be downloaded. Live streams are not supported.

Do you store the videos I download?

No. This page only looks up the video's metadata. Segments are fetched by your browser directly from Kick's CDN and the MP4 is assembled on your device.

Why is the file size estimated?

Kick's VOD playlists don't declare byte sizes, so those are estimated from the bitrate. Clip playlists do, so their sizes are exact.

Is it really free?

Yes — no account, no payment, no watermark, no software to install.

Does it work on mobile?

It works, but long VODs are best saved on a desktop browser (Chrome or Edge), where the file is streamed straight to disk instead of being kept in memory.

What is the difference between a Kick clip and a VOD?

A Kick clip is a short highlight cut from a stream, while a Kick VOD is the full recording of a past broadcast. Both can be pasted into this downloader and saved as MP4, but their links differ: clips use kick.com/<channel>/clips/<clip_id> and VODs use kick.com/<channel>/videos/<id>.

Can I trim a Kick video before downloading it?

Yes, the Kick video downloader lets you set a start and end time and save only that part as MP4. The trim works on clips and VODs alike, and the end time must come after the start time.
