1

Copy the store link

Open the game's page on store.steampowered.com and copy the address from your browser. An app id on its own (1172470) works too.

2

Paste and resolve

Paste it above. The game and every trailer it publishes are listed with all available resolutions.

Pick a resolution

Click a quality. The fragments come straight from Steam's CDN and are merged into a single MP4; the save dialog opens as soon as it is ready.

About this downloader

This tool reads a Steam store page and lists every trailer and gameplay video Steam publishes there, together with the HLS resolutions available for each one. Paste a store link or a bare app id; the resolver asks Steam's appdetails API for the page metadata and fetches each trailer's master playlist. Only that small text passes through here — the media itself never does.

When you pick a quality, your browser downloads the video and audio fragments from Steam's CDN and muxes them into a single MP4 on your device, without re-encoding. Nothing is stored, re-hosted or watermarked, and no account or sign-in is required. A two-minute trailer is roughly ninety short fragments, so the progress bar fills in seconds, and the save dialog opens as soon as the muxing finishes.

Frequently asked questions

How to download a Steam trailer (or any video on a Steam page)?

Open the game's store page, copy the address from your browser and paste it into the field above. Every trailer and gameplay video listed on that page appears with its available resolutions — click one and the MP4 is saved.

Why does the download take a moment?

Steam publishes its trailers as HLS: a video track and an audio track split into fragments of about three seconds. Your browser fetches those fragments from Steam's CDN and merges them into one MP4 without re-encoding. A two-minute trailer is roughly ninety fragments, so the progress bar fills within a few seconds.

Are the videos re-encoded or watermarked?

No. The fragments Steam serves are copied byte for byte into the MP4 — the same picture and the same audio the Steam client plays, at the resolution you picked.

Is anything stored on your server?

No. The resolver only reads the store metadata and the trailer's playlist, a few kilobytes. Every media fragment goes from Steam's CDN directly to your browser, so no video byte passes through this site and nothing is kept.

Do I need a Steam account?

No. Store trailers are public. Only videos Steam publishes on a store page can be resolved, and nothing that requires a login is touched.

Which resolution should I pick?

The highest one Steam ships for that trailer (often 1920x1080) is listed first. Lower resolutions download faster and take less space; each row shows the resolution and the bitrate of that variant.

Which resolutions are available for a Steam game trailer?

Steam trailer resolutions depend on the trailer: each one lists every quality Steam publishes, commonly up to 1920x1080, highest first. Lower resolutions download faster and use less space.

Where is the merged MP4 saved on a phone?

Grabivo saves the finished MP4 wherever your browser stores downloads: on iPhone Safari that is the Files app, on Android Chrome the Downloads folder.
